Victron Phoenix Multiplus inverter charger and the 1600W 24V 70A charger. Multi-functional intelligent energy management.
Multi-functional intelligent energy management.
It has a powerful inverter pure sine wave with charger adaptive charge technology and a transfer switch high speed.
In addition to these main functions, inverter / carcador Victron Phoenix offers advanced features that open the door to new applications.
Uninterruptible AC power (UPS function)
In case of failure in the mains supply, or disconnection of shore power or generator, the inverter automatically provides power Multi network connected output. This transfer occurs so rapidly that does not cause any alteration in computers and other sensitive electronic devices connected. The maximum switching power is 16 A per device (30 A optionally available). An external switch allows you to manage power up to 80 A: PowerMan see the documentation for that option.
Parallel operation: virtually unlimited power
Up to a total of 6 inverters can operate in parallel Phoenix and thus add its power (depending on models, see specifications). For example, six 24/3000/70 devices provide 18 kVA / 15 kW and a power output of 420 amp load.
Thee-phase configuration
In addition to the parallel connection, three identical devices can provide a phase voltage. And even more: you can configure three sets of six devices to form a super-power three-phase set of 54 kVA / 45 kW with 1,260 A charger!
PowerControl – limited control of shore power or generator
The Multi is a very powerful battery charger that requires a lot of current from the generator or shore power (about 10 A at 230 VAC for Multi). The Phoenix Multi Control panel control allows to limit this power. Multi then feeds the demand priority AC output power and only use the remainder for charging, thus avoiding overloading the generator or shore power.
PowerAssist – More power to shore power or generator
PowerAssist is a unique feature that distinguishes the Phoenix MultiPlus, and gives a new dimension to the principle of PowerControl. If demand exceeds the capacity of the generator or shore power, the MultiPlus inverter takes additional energy in batteries and adds it to the exit. Thus, it is possible to cope momentarily peak intensities greater than the power of a generator or outlet connection port. When the requested power decreases, the surplus is used for recharging. Note: minimum power required to MultiPlus 2-A to shore power or generator of 1 kW.
4-stage adaptive charger and 2 outputs
A main output provides a powerful charge in three stages that automatically adjust to the state of the battery. A fourth stage -called “maintenance” – prevents the battery from damage during extended periods of non-use (wintering). This process of “adaptive charging” controlled by microprocessor is described in detail in the technical specifications of Phoenix charger. A second low power output is intended for charging a starter battery.
