INTEGRATED DATA COMMUNICATION
We are the first inverter manufacturer to offer a communications package with data logging, wireless WLAN connection, Ethernet, power management, a web server and numerous interfaces. Thus, the inverter connects to the Internet via a network cable or WLAN without the need for additional wiring and a perfect visualization of the operation of the PV installation is obtained. It can be connected to components from other manufacturers thanks to interfaces such as Modbus TCP SunSpec, Modbus RTU SunSpec or the Fronius Solar API (JSON). In addition, open interfaces can be used in parallel to Fronius Solar.web.
DYNAMIC PEAK MANAGER
The Dynamic Peak Manager is a novel GMPP intelligent tracking algorithm capable of dynamically adapting its behavior while searching for the optimum operating point. The particularity of the Dynamic Peak Manager is that it automatically checks the entire characteristic curve periodically and finds the maximum power point (GMPP), even in partial shading.
MULTI-FLOW TECHNOLOGY
Multi Flow Technology allows different DC and AC power flows in parallel. Thus, any home can have power from the modules and the battery at the same time. It is also possible to feed power from the modules to the battery and to the home network at the same time. Furthermore it is possible to charge the battery not only from the AC side but also from the DC side (eg from existing PV installations or from other energy sources a wind turbine). This means that the inverter can also be retrofitted with AC coupling. The inverter manages these energy flows to achieve the highest self-consumption rate.
SUPERFLEX DESIGN
The Fronius SuperFlex design combines all the technical requirements to make designing your PV system very easy and flexible. The most important factors of the SuperFlex design are the following: Two Maximum Power Point Trackers (MPPT) in combination with the high system voltage and the wide range of DC input voltage. Each direct current input, and therefore each MPP tracker, is capable of adapting to the nominal power of the inverter. The result is an inverter for every application. Thanks to the SuperFlex design, a single inverter can handle any challenge, including different roof orientations, shading one or two PV module strings, or using residual modules. A Fronius inverter with the integrated SuperFlex design allows you to cover any configuration situation with a single inverter model in terms of the company’s PV planning practice.
FULL BACKUP*
With the “Full backup” option, all single-phase and three-phase devices in the home can continue to receive power in the event of a power outage. *The Full Backup option is only available for Primo GEN24 Plus versions from 3.0 to 6.0 Plus and Symo GEN24 Plus from 6.0 to 10.0.
PV POINT
The basic built-in emergency power function, a dedicated outlet to supply electricity in an emergency, ensures that important loads can continue to operate during power outages.
ACTIVE COOLING
Active cooling technology is based on one or more fans that not only prevent heat fields, but also regulate the air circulation inside the inverter, thus keeping the temperature of the power electronics low. This has a positive effect on the useful life of the devices, optimizes performance and reduces costs. At Fronius, Active Cooling is a technology standard in all devices.
